Chaos Software has announced that all sales of V-Ray for Modo & V-Ray for Katana are being discontinued and can no longer be purchased as of January 20, 2022. 

Chaos® is gradually phasing out V-Ray for Modo and V-Ray for Katana, starting with discontinuing the sales on their online store and any further product development as of Dec. 20, 2021. Sales through Motion Media will continue through the end of January 2022 and support will be available through December 31, 2022.

End of Direct Online Sales

December 20, 2021

This is the date as of which V-Ray for Modo and Katana will no longer be available for purchase and renewal through the Chaos online store. End of Online Sales is also aligned with End of Maintenance. They will no longer offer build maintenance and updates. Chaos will continue to offer technical support for another 12 months until the reach of the End of Support phase.

End of Sales at Motion Media

January 20, 2022

This is the date as of which orders for V-Ray for Modo and Katana can no longer be placed via Motion Media. Chaos will continue to offer technical support until the reach of the End of Support phase.

End of Support

December 31, 2022

The End of Support marks the date after which V-Ray for Modo and V-Ray for Katana will no longer receive technical support. Users may continue to use the products after the end of support, however any problems reported will not be taken into consideration by the Chaos team.
