RE:Vision Effects Inc., the developer behind the industry-standard slow-motion tool Twixtor®, is excited to announce the release of their latest game-changer: Twixtor v8 beta.
Twixtor v8 takes the hassle out of capturing stunning slow-motion footage. Forget the days of stressing about frame rates; focus on capturing those perfect moments, and let Twixtor handle the rest.
The magic lies in Twixtor v8's deep neural network, powered by AI Machine Learning (ML). This innovative technology eliminates the artifacts that plagued slow-motion creation in the past, like wobbles, ghosting, and unwanted blur.
Previously, achieving high-quality slow-motion required shooting a massive amount of footage at super high frame rates. This not only devoured storage space but also introduced editing complexities. With Twixtor v8, you can capture footage at regular frame rates and still achieve smooth, high-quality slow-motion thanks to the power of ML.
Twixtor integrates directly with your favorite editing, compositing, and VFX applications, eliminating the need for time-consuming intermediate renders or compromising on bit depth. It works on-premise, maintaining the precision of your source material, and supports distributed rendering for studios with multiple machines.
Twixtor v8 runs efficiently on a wide range of computers, with performance significantly boosted by a good GPU. It offers broad compatibility, supporting AMD, nVidia, Intel, and Apple chips. A Linux version is slated for release in Q2.

Support for FCP/Motion, Media Composer, and Twixtor Pro is coming in Q2.
