Seth MacFarlane's Fuzzy Door Tech revolutionizes TV production with Ted prequel Seth MacFarlane's Fuzzy Door Tech revolutionizes TV production with Ted prequel

Fuzzy Door Tech, the tech arm of MacFarlane's acclaimed Fuzzy Door, unveils its groundbreaking ViewScreen system, which transformed the production of the new Ted TV series, premiering today on Peacock.

ViewScreen marks a historic first: filming an animated lead character (Ted) in real-time alongside live actors. This allowed the entire crew to see Ted on set, not just in post-production. MacFarlane, using ViewScreen's wireless motion capture, even acted as Ted while simultaneously directing – a feat never before seen in TV.

This prequel to the record-breaking Ted comedies dives into 1993, where Ted's fame has faded. Now living with his 16-year-old best friend John in a working-class Boston home, Ted, despite his often dubious influence, remains fiercely loyal to John and his family.
