iToo Software's RailClone and Forest Pack 7 are now compatible with 3ds Max 2023

Announced this morning by iToo Software, Forest Pack 7 and RailClone 5 now support 3ds Max 2023 as well as Arnold 7.1, so there’s no excuse not to take them for a spin. Besides the compatibility, they took the opportunity to fix some bugs and add a couple of small features that you can check out below.

This release was primarily to get up to speed on 3ds Max 2023, but iToo also released a few new features for users. Both RailClone and Forest Pack Lister now have a Stats column that displays the build time of an object. 

Forest Packs' new Match Reference by name feature just got a bit more powerful with support for Regular Expressions. This allows users to use search pattern techniques to help match geometry to references. 

Chaos Corona users also get an update. RailClone is now able to distribute Corona Decal objects. Just add them to the graph as a segment in the usual way and you can procedurally place your decals using RailClone's flexible layout tools!
