Floating License Support for Legacy Customers: As you may know, in recent years  Boris FX unified our products (including the current shipping Mocha Pro 2021) on RLM (Reprise License Manager) for license technology.

From September 1, 2021, Boris FX will no longer be able to support or generate the older FlexLM based licenses. For clarity moving forward, customers with floating licenses that are running Mocha Pro v5.5 or older, and node-locked licenses from Mocha Pro v4 or older, will no longer be able to request license transfers or activate online. Our records show that you purchased one of these versions, and if you are still using it, moving your license to a new computer will require an upgrade or subscription.

Mocha Pro 2019 (v6) Release date: October 2018

Highlights: GPU accelerated Remove Module, Retina/High DPI display support, Magnetic Spline w/edge snapping, Essentials Interface, 360/VR features, Autodesk Flame OFX plugin support, Matte Rendering, and Performance Improvements.

Mocha Pro 2020 (v7) Release date: October 2019

Mocha Pro 2021 (v8) Release date: November 2020

Highlights: PowerMesh sub-planar, warped surface tracking, and stabilization with Alembic exports. AdjustTrack module improvements. Updated Python Script Editor. Performance and stability including Apple ProRes exports.
